About the position 🌌

As a Dog Sled Guide and Handler, you will be the face of adventure, ensuring guests have a fantastic time exploring the Arctic wilderness with a team of energetic huskies. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, taking charge when challenges arise and keeping everything running smoothly.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Lead dog sled tours, guiding guests through scenic trails with enthusiasm and expertise.

Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests feel safe, informed, and entertained.

Care for and handle sled dogs, including feeding, grooming, and preparing them for tours.

Maintain a clean and organized kennel environment.

Respond calmly and efficiently to unexpected situations, always keeping a problem-solving mindset.

Assist with snow removal and other outdoor tasks when needed.

Take initiative and show leadership in handling challenges and ensuring a smooth experience for all

Skills to Lead the Pack 🛷

Can speak English or German, but bonus points for any other languages that help you connect with our diverse visitors.

Has European class B licence is a plus so you can drive inte the adventure!

You’re a true people and animal enthusiast, ready to bring joy while caring for both our guests and fluffy companions! 

Previous experience handling dogs or working in a kennel is a valuable asset and will give you a head start in this role

Able to be adaptable and you’re open to new living and working conditions, ready for whatever the adventure brings.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the energy of a busy workplace where no two days are the same.

Good physical condition and being able of lifting weights up to 20 kg
